Saint Laurent Rive Droite x Sushi Park
LA’s famously discreet omakase restaurant meets the equally discreet world of Saint Laurent—and yes, the pairing makes perfect sense.
Paris has no shortage of stylish dinner reservations, but this one comes with particularly good credentials. Los Angeles’ cult Sushi Park now has its first permanent location outside LA, tucked inside Saint Laurent Rive Droite in the heart of the French capital.
The collaboration reunites Saint Laurent with Chef Peter Park following their successful 2022 partnership. Since opening the original Sushi Park in 2006, Park has built a loyal following around an omakase experience that is minimalist, meticulous and refreshingly free from unnecessary theatrics.
There is no lengthy menu to study or signature roll to order. Omakase means leaving the experience in the chef’s hands, with a tasting menu created daily around the freshest seasonal fish and seafood available. Trust issues will have to stay at the door.
The concept feels naturally at home within Saint Laurent’s universe: precise, understated and quietly luxurious. Even the tableware received special attention, with a selection of ceramics conceived by Professor Kim for the Paris restaurant.
And while fashion houses opening cafés and restaurants is no longer surprising, this collaboration feels less like a branded side project and more like two distinct creative worlds speaking the same language. Both understand restraint. Both obsess over craftsmanship. Neither feels the need to explain too much.
The result? A dining experience for people who appreciate their sushi—and their Saint Laurent—with very good taste.
